Animals Taiwan is a registered non-for-profit organization comprised of both local and expatriates individuals dedicated to improving the welfare of stray animals in Taiwan. We believe in giving every animal the chance of a life without suffering, however small that chance may be. That is why the heart of Animals Taiwan, our Rescue Center, is a non-kill facility.

Art Contest mission
- The purpose of the art contest is to encourage children to think of strays as part of our society and as possible pets.
- The Art Contest supports our efforts of creating awareness on the stray situation in Taiwan.
World Animal Day
- World Animal Day is an event celebrated every October 4th around the world by animal-lovers, schools, places of worship and ordinary members of the public.
- World Animal Day celebrates humankind’s unique relationship with the animal kingdom, and acknowledges the numerous ways in which animals enrich our lives.
